THE FORGETTING MACHINE

THE FORGETTING MACHINE IS A HISTORY OF HAWAII AS TOLD THROUGH THE ORDEAL OF GRACE CHANG, A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT, WHO HAS BEEN CHOSEN TO DELIVER THE 60th ANNIVERSARY SPEECH IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE BOMBING OF PEARL HARBOR (WWII).
THE PLAY IS A SURREAL ODYSSEY SET IN THREE TIME PERIODS: THE LATE 1800s, THE 1930s, AND POST 9/11/2001.
