Celebrating with Iowa !

The Iowa Supreme Court has done the right thing.

Rich has a hockey and music filled post at Everybody.

And Dave has a Friday Celebratory Interlude, too.

Thanks, Nomi. I can’t tell you how gratifying it is to see a Midwestern state like Iowa go this way. I know people on the coasts think that we in the flyover states are all a buncha Luddites; but truthfully, Midwesterners are a pretty liberal lot. Know if only Illinois could grow a spine, too.

okay kids,
we need to elect Linc Chaffee for gov, get the marriage equality bill passed, and then choose some good local stores for our wedding gift source and then get ready for a second wave of dancing and champagne. all my straight friends got married ten years ago, and i like a wedding now and then.

If the morons I grew up in the midst of NEEDED another reason to hate Iowa, this was a gift from hell.

Nebraska has one modrately liberal city, Omaha. Other than that the rest of the state is reliably conservastupid.
