Ultrasound Bill for Rhode Island ? No, Thank You.

Representative Karen MacBeth and others have created one of those insulting, intrusive bills, suggesting medical providers and patients need legislative steps.

John McDaid, my friend & fellow blogger in Aquidneck Island, has challenged her politely.

Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants & All Medical Providers are entirely capable of determining which tests are needed and when.

Women need no legislator to make a difficult time more or less difficult.

I am not sure of an equivalent intervention for men going to clinics would be.

When men get Tests for Sexually Transmitted Infections, we don't introduce sonography. We could. I am sure a testicular sonogram or other exam could be mandated. There are lots of possibilities I'm sure.
