A long vacant and decrepit building is being removed from Providence's West End. I am pleased because I have feared that the monstrosity would burn and endanger my friends at John Hope Settlement House.
Some of my neighbors have been trying to save it.

Here's an article in the Providence Journal from October 2007. Amazing that it took 14 more months for the demolition to occur.
