Hudson Street Market To Leave Providence's West End

Hudson Street Market has been part of my life since 1989. It's been part of Providence's West End for a much longer period. It has been owned and operated by various. The sandwiches attract people from all over the state, and probably from Massachusetts and Connecticut.

It has been a haven to dogs and their companions, and to young people (including the very, very young) and their elders...

The Hudson Street Market has been a safe place in the neighborhood where people could congregate and it's hard to imagine that area without it.

Yesterday Khym (Kim?) told me that the woman who bought the building has other plans for that space. She will be auctioning off memorabilia very soon and its last day will be February 20 (?).

K. said that she's moving the business to Richmond Street to Jerky's.
It will be called "Hudson Market at Jerky's"...

I have been going to Hudson Street Market for 11 years I remember getting hand fulls of change from my parents and skipping there with my brothers and sisters to load up on penny candy back in the day, I participated in the neighborhood cleanups and even trick or treated there till I was about 11 or 12. That place is a huge part of my childhood memories.

I was just there yesterday for a cup of coffee and a chat with Kim. I am going to miss that place but the plans for the new place sound amazing and I wish Kim all the best.

Well this post certainly reminds me of the time when I worked as a teacher. It was a great job but
the pay was not enough for my mortgage. Now I am working from home selling import export goods online, mostly digital items and gifts for this upcoming Christmas. My profits have been looking great and I was able to pay off my mortgage also. Everyone can do this, work from home and earn big profits online. The question is HOW and WHERE to find info.
